Vojislav Jovanović was born on June 20, 1977 in Belgrade, Serbia.
Immediately after completing his studies, in the period from 2005 to 2008, he was engaged as a teaching assistant (demonstrator) in the course Clinical Psychology and Psychodiagnostics at the Department of Clinical Psychology, Faculty of Philosophy, University of Belgrade.
From 2005 to 2021, he was employed at the Psychiatric Clinic “Dr Laza Lazarević” as a clinical psychologist. Between 2012 and 2021, he mentored a number of psychology students during their mandatory clinical internships and the preparation of their final written assignment within the course Clinical Psychology with Psychodiagnostics, at both bachelor’s and master’s levels.
Since 2021, within the Laboratory for Neurocognition and Applied Cognition, he has been involved in both practical and theoretical training of students in EEG methodology and ERP techniques. In September 2023, he obtained the academic title of Research Associate in the field of Social Sciences – Psychological Sciences. He is the author and co-author of multiple scientific papers published in peer-reviewed international and national journals.
