Mirjana Perišić was born on August 11, 1979 in Cacak, Serbia.
Dr. Mirjana Perišić is a Senior Research Associate at the Institute of Physics, University of Belgrade, and an Associate Professor at Singidunum University. She specializes in environmental physics and chemistry, with a PhD in Experimental Physics (2016) from the University of Belgrade. Her research focuses on atmospheric science, air pollution monitoring, source apportionment, and AI-driven environmental data analysis. She has contributed to numerous national and international projects (Horizon 2020, COST Actions) on air quality, climate change, and environmental health. She has also played a role in policy development through air quality management plans. Her expertise includes statistical and receptor modeling and machine learning in environmental sciences. Dr. Perišić has authored numerous scientific papers and book chapters.
