Jovana Pavlović was born on May 10, 1981 in Belgrade, Serbia.
Jovana Pavlović (née Vuković), born on October 5, 1981, in Belgrade. She completed elementary school and the Philological High School in Belgrade. She graduated in 2009 from the Faculty of Philosophy, University of Belgrade, with a degree in Classical Studies and an average grade of 9, earning the title of Master of Classical Philology. She was recognized as one of the top students at the University of Belgrade (final-year average grade of 9.7). In December 2018, she completed her doctoral studies at the Faculty of Philosophy, University of Belgrade, in the Classics program, defending her dissertation titled "A Word on the Holy and Honorable Icons: A Contribution to the Study of the History of the Greek Text and its Serbian-Slavonic Translations" with an average grade of 9.33. From November 2005 to 2008, she taught Serbian to marginalized groups at the Alpha Center. From September 2008 to 2012, she worked as a teacher at the Branko Pešić School in Zemun. In 2012, she served as a substitute Latin teacher at the Medical High School in Belgrade. From 2013 to 2020, she worked on special education programs at the Alpha Center. Between 2020 and 2024, she was employed full-time at the Archives of the Serbian Orthodox Church and, with archiepiscopal blessing, at the Cathedral Church in Belgrade, where she established and organized the entire library collection of the Church. From 2016 to 2020, she was appointed as a research associate at the Faculty of Orthodox Theology in Belgrade. Since February 2023, she has held the title of research fellow at the Faculty of Orthodox Theology, approved by the Ministry of Science. She has established numerous international collaborations and is a Ph.D. candidate at the Faculty of Political Sciences (political science). Jovana Pavlović possesses extensive teaching experience, having taught for over 15 years while simultaneously advancing her education through special programs in history, Serbian, Latin, and English. She has led innovative international projects in education, including a four-year Church World Service project at the Branko Pešić Elementary School and a multi-year project for the socialization of young Roma women, supported by the City Secretariat for Social Welfare.
