Aleksandra Vujko

Aleksandra Vujko was born on October 20, 1980 in Osijek, Croatia.

Aleksandra Vujko is the author of a large number of scientific research papers published in renowned domestic and foreign journals, as well as a participant in a large number of plenary presentations at domestic and international conferences. She is the author of three monographs, one of which was financed by the Ministry of Education, Science and Technological Development of the Republic of Serbia, as well as a participant in several domestic and international projects. During her career, she was a member of the expert committee for the equivalence of study programs, a member of the committee for the preparation of documentation for the re-accreditation of the study program Tourism and Hotel Management of the Business School of Vocational Studies in Novi Sad, a member of the committee for the preparation of documentation for the accreditation of the Research and Development Institute with three scientific departments, member of the committee for the defense of diploma, master theses and doctoral dissertations. She is also a member of the committee for writing, evaluating and defending four doctoral dissertations (mentor). Guest editor of the journal Sustainability (M22, 2019), Review Editor in the journal Behaviors and Behavior Change in Tourism, Frontiers (2022 to date), member of the editorial board of several domestic journals in the category M20 and M50, member of the International Scientific Committee of the 7th International Scientific Conference The Future of Tourism, Faculty of Hotel Management and Tourism in Vrnjačka Banja, member of the Russian Geographical Society. Her research is focused on broader aspects of tourism, tourist destination management, gastrotourism, gastronomy, and sustainable development, especially rural development, rural tourism, and sustainable tourism.
