Aleksandar Mihajlović was born on June 02, 1980 in Belgrade, Serbia.
He actively uses the English language, and he gained work experience in state institutions and the private sector, and since 2005 he has been employed as an associate of the Computer Center at Singidunum University. In 2010, he became part of the marketing team, and currently holds the position of Art Director. He defended his final diploma thesis entitled "The Book of Graphic Standards of Singidunum University" with a grade of 10.00, and his final master's thesis entitled "Design as an important component of the brand in the function of gaining competitive advantage" he also defended with a grade of 10. He was also engaged in independent projects in areas of visual communication, graphic design and digital marketing. He is the author of over 80 visual identities for various brands and their extensions, as well as numerous digital and marketing campaigns for agencies, companies and NGOs from various business areas. He is part of the team that actively participates in the creation of the marketing strategy of Singidunum University. As a member of that team, he achieved significant results in planning and organizing marketing elements and his work contributes to improving the image of Singidunum University. He also actively participates in the promotion of Singidunum University in secondary technical and electrotechnical schools in Belgrade.
During his previous work experience, he participated in various national and international projects and studies: Erasmus+ K1: ELEMEND - Electrical Energy Markets and Engineering Education, 11th Annual International Religious Tourism and Pilgrimage (IRTP) Conference, Erasmus+ KA2: DBBT - Digital Broadcasting and Broadband Technologies , TEMPUS SIPUS - Strengthening of Internationalization Policies at Universities in Serbia, E-Skills for Young Economists, Development of Career Guidance Aimed at Improving Higher Education in Serbia - CAREERS, TEMPUS Project No. 511332 – TEMPUS SIGMUS (Strengthening Student Role in Governance and Management at the Universities of Serbia), Study of the justification of the establishment of the Congress Bureau of the Zlatibor Tourist Organization.
As part of the development team of Singidunum University, he received a special award from the JISA Discobolos Association and the first IT Globus Award from Mikro-PC World Magazine for the creation of the scientific research portal "Singipedia". Also, he won a special award for the publication "Think Design" at the 30th International Fair of Graphic, Paper and Creative Industry "Grafima". From 2009 until today, he actively participates in the editorial work of the scientific and research journal "The European Journal of Applied Economics", as well as in the editorial work of the international magazine "SingiLogos" from 2021. He is a member of the organizing committee of the international scientific conferences "Sinteza", "Finiz" and "Sitcon". As a member of the jury, he participated in the event Marketing Day "We think digitally", in the event "Souvenirs of Serbia", and as a volunteer and member of the marketing team, he participated in the organization of IT courses for the non-governmental organization "City Organization of the Deaf of Belgrade".
