What is the language of instruction at Singidunum University?
The language of instruction for a great deal of courses at the University is Serbian. However, the University also organizes international joint degree study programmes with all lectures being delivered in English by both professors from Singidunum University and reputable foreign professors. Most of our teaching and non-teaching staff is fluent in English and is able to provide help or assistance to foreign students and applicants.

Does the University offer any additional services and extracurricular activities to its students?
Apart from the activities and requirements envisaged by the curricula, our students have the opportunity to take part in numerous extracurricular activities. Namely, they can obtain various IT and software certificates or internationally recognized language certificates. They can also attend seminars organized by our Institute and get a valid certificate upon seminar completion. They can get the opportunity to do an internship or part-time employment in some of many corporations and hotels the University cooperates with. Moreover, our students can take part in various sports and cultural activities and compete within a team at national and international competitions etc.

Can students apply for permanent resident status in Serbia?
Students can apply for permanent resident status if they are employed and able to support themselves without any intention to claim social support.

Are there any discounts for international students who study in Belgrade?
Students can get the International Student Identity Card (ISIC) that gives them thousands of travel, online and lifestyle discounts at home and worldwide. It costs only 12 £. How can students open a bank account in Serbia and how long does the whole process last?
It is not obligatory to have an account in Serbia, but is recommended as it may help you avoid excessive transaction fees. The whole procedure of issuing a bank card will take approximately 7-10 working days. The University services can provide you with all relevant information and assistance.

What are the estimated monthly living conditions in Belgrade?
It will be necessary to spend around 200 EUR on food per person if buying in supermarkets or preparing it. Studio flats can be rented for about 150-200 EUR per month. There is also an option of sharing a three-bedroom flat for approximately 350 EUR in total per month.
