As a consortium member of SIPUS project ''Strengthening of Internationalization Policies at Universities in Serbia'', Singidunum University had the opportunity to host the second consortium meeting on November 19-20, 201, at its premises at Kumodraška 261.
The SIPUS project addresses the process of internationalization of Serbian HE as one that requires immediate national and institutional response and joint action. Enabling national HE bodies and HEIs to strategically manage internationalization in the provision of education, research, mobility and services registered are regarded to be the Project’s overall objective and the main underpinning of Serbia’s accountable and complementary role in EHEA and ERA.
This consortium meeting gathered representatives from the University of Novi Sad, as a project coordinator, as well as numerous representatives from other foreign and local partner institutions, including: University of Belgrade, University of Niš, University of Kragujevac, State University of Novi Pazar, Singidunum University, Ministry of Education, Science and Technological Development, National Council for HE, National Council for Scientific and Technological Development, NIS, Balkan Idea Novi Sad, University of Ghent (Belgium), University of Graz (Austria), University of Alicante (Spain), University of Pecs (Hungary), WUS Austria.
During the first day of the consortium meeting, the participants had the opportunity to discuss all previous and ongoing project activities within each work package, and give suggestions and conclusions concerning the future pace of the project. The second day was devoted to financial issues and reports of all project partners. The final segment of the meeting included media conference for all attendees of the consortium meeting.
