The Singidunum University research team comprising Prof. Mladen Veinović, PhD, Prof. Miloš Stojmenović, PhD, and Prof. Aleksandar Jevremović, PhD, attended the closing session organized by the Project AAPELE (Algorithms, Architectures and Platforms for Enhanced Living Environments) Executive Board on 28-29 September 2017. Researchers from prestigious universities from 34 European countries gathered for this project, which was initiated in 2013 within the EU COST/H2020 Framework and led by Professor Nuna Garsia. A great number of scientific research activities were conducted as part of the project such as professional meetings, conferences, short-term scientific research missions for students and professors.
During the session, our professors once again had an opportunity to share their experience and information on the current researches with their colleagues from abroad, to plan future lectures which would be delivered by foreign professors at Singidunum University and the Sinteza conference, to accept invitations extended by other universities, and to negotiate arrangements for further exchanges of undergraduate and postgraduate students. Most importantly, in terms of its future prosperity, Singidunum University was made a partner institution in a few proposals for forthcoming projects, going down the road leading to international cooperation and integration of our institution, students and professors into the European academic community.
